I can’t write tonight.

While this blog has been steadfast in avoiding politics, we were all confronted today by an event in Washington that was as much of an attack on our democracy as COVID-19 has been on our health system. The worst part is that it was not an act of nature but a purposeful, incited riot.

Sorry, but I just can’t focus right now. I will move forward on COVID-19 tomorrow, but tonight we should all concentrate on more immediate challenges. Much like COVID-19, this attack is something that we can and will respond to as an united country.

  1. Wow, I’ve been feeling that concern for a long time, while ignored by the media! I’m sure that this Crisis, today, will not be wasted! Cheers to your good work and sharing! Sincerely Suzanne

    1. My wife and daughter both worked in the Senate. A bomb went off while Lisa was there. The people who work there put up with so much, to have their lives at risk is nauseating.

      Thanks, Jim
