My current favorite topic is the surge in Michigan. I did a Vogue.com interview on this topic with Stuart Emmrich, a former Editor of the New York Times Style section and Vogue.com. Stuart is a frequent visitor to Michigan and shares my passion for the state. Please take a look.

Well, your friend’s interest in MSNBC as a primary news sources says it all. Facts are irrelevant to the narrative. This quote from the article, “By the time February came around, we had significant lockdown fatigue, and the state decided to open things up—but they did so without having any plan in place for vaccines. In fact, we had perhaps the worst distribution system in the country.” tells you in two ways how a state whose governor was/is obsessed with a political narrative vs. the people she should care about creates a problem bigger than the one allegedly being solved.

Those were my comments! If there was more aggressive vaccine or control measures releasing restrictions would have been fine. Can’t have it both ways!
