Tomorrow, I discuss the ongoing reports of deaths and COVID-19 infections. The conversation will take place at 10:00AM EDT on Flashpoint with Devin Scillian on WDIV (channel 4) in Detroit.

This dialogue is important since interpreting deaths associated with COVID can be confusing. Given the changes in COVID infections and the reporting of these numbers, we may need to rethink their meaning.

For those who miss the show or are outside the area, the interview will also be posted on their website after the broadcast time.

Jim. Did you see this article? https://www.michigancapitolconfidential.com/news/states-medical-officer-ties-school-openings-to-covid-vaccinations. This kind of reporting is why parents are confused. Can you help parse this out?

    Maybe need to explain Rachel’s statement that vaccination does not stop transmission. Too broad to be understood or helpful to parents (as usual for her) and directly conflicts with the states’ effort to get kids vaccinated.
